PeaceWise in action - practical advice for everyday situations
The Peacemaking in action training course is a 3 hour workshop for school teaching staff.
This workshop supports staff in positive classroom and playground behaviour management by helping them apply the biblical peacemaking principles from Everyday Peacemaking, PeaceWiseKids and PeaceWiseYouth.
This training empowers educators to help students build their own conflict resolution skills, building resilience and cooperation while reducing direct teacher intervention. Staff who complete the workshop are then provided with the material to be able to present this workshop to other staff as required on an ongoing basis.
The aim of this training is:
1.an opportunity to apply the GOD, ME, YOU, US framework and peacemaking tools in case study-based conflict scenarios to help bring peace
2. ability to share material from this course to other school staff so that they can better apply peacemaking tools. (e.g., through in-service training or short sessions in staff meetings)
