Everyday Conflict Coaching

The purpose of conflict coaching training is to equip you to help others resolve conflict and reconcile relationships without your direct involvement in the conflict. This first course is aimed at the kinds of everyday conflicts and conversations we have with friends, family members, colleagues and others.

This training is just one part of our inaugural intensive school. Head to the events page to see what other courses are on offer during this intensive school week.

Our presenters

Bruce Burgess

Bruce Burgess is married to Helen and they have two adult children. He is the Founding Director of PeaceWise and was Australia’s first Certified Christian Conciliator™. He holds degrees in Arts, Law, Christian Studies and Theology and is an international conference speaker. Bruce’s peacemaking work has led him to become involved in teaching and working with schools, workplace disputes, church and para-church based conflict cases. Bruce has a passion for seeing both adults and childrens’ lives transformed by the power of the gospel of peace and for building cultures and communities of peace. He loves seeing God break through to repair, restore and sustain healthy relationships. Bruce constantly thanks God for being the amazing God of peace that he is, who has provided so much help, wisdom and grace for living life.

Stephanie Schwarz

Steph’s vision is to see Christians equipped with a common biblical understanding for peacemaking. Steph believes that peacemaking skills are effective for conflict resolution and enriching community life – in churches, families and global contexts. Steph works as a Psychologist in private practice and in the missions sector. She is delighted to be able to present PeaceWise training to people who are keen to nurture their relationships and communities.
